Aged 11 got an electric guitar for Christmas and joined his first group on Boxing Day. Played in youth clubs then local clubs and during the 70's played U.S. Army bases in Germany and Italy as well as nightclubs in Copenhagen and Malta. Appeared throughout the U.K. and worked in various residencies in the North East before joining TBP in 1995.
